ELLIS is a European AI network of excellence comprising Units within 30 research institutions. It focuses on fundamental science, technical innovation and societal impact. The ELLIS Unit at UCL spans across multiple departments (Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit, Department of Computer Science, Department of Statistical Science and Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering).
StatML is a cohort-based doctoral programme based at Imperial and Oxford.
It trains the next generation of researchers in statistics and statistical machine learning, who will develop widely-applicable novel methodology and theory and create application-specific methods, leading to breakthroughs in real-world problems in government, medicine, industry and science.
The Centre for Data Intensive Science and Industry (DISI) is a vibrant hub that cultivates a rich environment of cross-disciplinary collaboration in Data Intensive Science (DIS) between academia and industry.
